For hot-process emulsions, incorporate during cooling, preferably below 40\u00b0C, following the raw material supplier\u2019s instructions.<\/p>\n<p>A final formulation pH of approximately <strong>4.5\u20136.5<\/strong> can be used as a development target, subject to the supplied grade\u2019s technical specifications. Confirm pH, stability and compatibility in the finished formula.<\/p>\n<p>For EU-market products:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Face creams:<\/strong> Maximum 2%.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Body lotions:<\/strong> Maximum 0.5%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These limits should not be applied automatically to other product categories.
