How to Use

1. Prepare the Wooden Soap Mold

Make sure the inside of the mold is:

• Clean
• Dry
• Free from old soap residue

Place the mold on a stable and level surface.

2. Insert the Liner Paper

Place one pre-cut liner inside the wooden mold.

Make sure:

• The bottom is fully covered
• The paper sits flat
• Side sections are positioned correctly
• The corners are folded neatly

Avoid large wrinkles, as they may transfer onto the surface of the finished soap.

3. Pour the Soap Batter

Once your cold process soap batter is ready, carefully pour it into the lined mold.

Pour slowly to help prevent the liner from moving.

4. Level the Soap

Gently tap or adjust the mold if necessary to distribute the soap evenly.

Avoid excessive movement once the mold is filled.

5. Allow the Soap to Harden

Leave the soap in the mold until it is sufficiently firm to remove.

Depending on the formula, this commonly takes approximately 24–48 hours, although some recipes require more time.

6. Remove the Soap Loaf

Lift or remove the soap loaf from the wooden mold according to the mold design.

The liner should help separate the soap from the wooden surface.

7. Peel Away the Paper

Carefully remove the paper from the soap loaf.

If the soap is still very soft and the paper sticks strongly, allow additional hardening time before peeling.

8. Cut and Cure the Soap

After removing the liner, the soap loaf can be cut into bars.

Cold process soap should then complete the appropriate curing period according to the formulation.

• Make sure the paper is positioned neatly before pouring.
• Avoid excessive folds and wrinkles.
• Do not overfill the mold.
• Allow soft soap additional hardening time before removing the liner.
