Silver Soap Colourant 20 g – Shimmering Colour for Handmade Soaps

Silver Soap Colourant adds silver tones and decorative shimmer to handmade soaps. Use it to create elegant bars, contrasting swirls and layered designs for gift collections, festive occasions and everyday soap projects.

The final shade and visibility of the shimmer depend on the soap base, dosage and processing conditions. The 20 g powder pack is convenient for small-batch soap making and colour trials.

Features and Benefits

• Silver colour effects: Add a cool-toned finish to decorative soap designs.
• Shimmering appearance: Create metallic-looking accents where the chosen soap base allows the effect to show.
• Creative flexibility: Experiment with single-colour bars, swirls and contrasting layers.
• Adjustable intensity: Add gradually to develop your preferred colour.
• Practical pack size: Test different designs before preparing larger batches.

Applications

Use in soap formulations compatible with the supplied pigment. Transparent and opaque bases can produce different results, so test both the shade and shimmer in your chosen base.

For cold-process, hot-process and melt-and-pour soap, follow the supplier’s instructions on compatibility, dosage and processing conditions.

How to Use

1. Prepare a small test batch: Check the silver shade and shimmer in your chosen soap base.
2. Pre-disperse as instructed: Use the mixing medium recommended for the supplied pigment.
3. Add gradually: Weigh accurately and mix thoroughly to minimise clumps and visible specks.
4. Evaluate the finished soap: Check colour distribution, shimmer, colour transfer and any changes after cooling or curing.
5. Record your formula: Note the dosage and processing conditions to help reproduce the result.

Powder pigments may disperse rather than dissolve. Do not assume that this colourant is soluble in both water and oil.
