White Soap Colourant 20 g – Opaque Colour and Pastel Soap Designs

White Soap Colourant helps create an opaque white appearance in compatible handmade soap formulations. Use it for white bars, contrasting layers or to lighten compatible colours for pastel-inspired designs.

The final whiteness and opacity depend on the soap base, dosage and other ingredients. The 20 g powder pack is convenient for small-batch soap making and colour trials.

Features and Benefits

• White colour effects: Create a simple, elegant appearance in decorative soaps.
• Added opacity: Reduce transparency in compatible soap bases.
• Pastel colour blends: Combine with compatible colourants to develop lighter shades.
• Creative flexibility: Experiment with white layers, swirls and contrasting patterns.
• Practical pack size: Test colour levels before preparing larger batches.

Applications

Use in soap bases compatible with the supplied pigment. The original colour of your base can influence the finished result, so test the shade and opacity before scaling up.

For cold-process, hot-process and melt-and-pour soap, follow the supplier’s instructions on compatibility, dosage and processing conditions.

How to Use

1. Prepare a small test batch: Check the whiteness and opacity in your chosen soap base.
2. Pre-disperse as instructed: Use the mixing medium recommended for the supplied pigment.
3. Add gradually: Weigh accurately and mix thoroughly to minimise clumps and visible white specks.
4. Develop pastel shades: Blend with compatible colourants in small amounts, recording the proportions used.
5. Evaluate the finished soap: Check colour uniformity and any changes after cooling or curing.

Powder pigments may disperse rather than dissolve. Do not assume that this colourant is soluble in both water and oil.
